Access Programming

About Access Programming

The Cable Television Division programs two access channels for CFU and Mediacom in Cedar Falls, under the guidelines and policies developed by the Cedar Falls Cable Television Commission.

Government access programs are produced by the Cable Television Division and provide information about the City of Cedar Falls, Black Hawk County, State of Iowa or federal government.

Educational access programs are produced by the Cable Television Division and provide information regarding activities sponsored by the Cedar Falls Community Schools, the University of Northern Iowa, Hawkeye Community College and other Iowa State Regents institutions.

Public access programs are produced by the citizens of Cedar Falls and feature a wide range of subject matter.

Governmental and educational access programming is provided to both Mediacom and CFU cable TV subscribers on Channel 15.

Public access programming is provided to Mediacom’s subscribers on Channel 17, and to CFU’s subscribers on Channel 98.
